Where did yesterday go?
The hours we spent
melt away like the snow
All those days we pledged
forever friends til the end
The trees bow their branches
a new season rolls on in
At the fork of the road
we seek out the future,
we go our separate ways
Someday the seasons
of change will find us
and bring us face to face
The rain will fall
the wind will be blowing
the lightning will strike
We'll look up to see
the face of a friend
down a road we've never been
Oh seasons
Where did innocence go?
The childlike playfulness
in the eyes of those we know
All those tears of laughter
all those late night talks alone
The wind's rushing current
tells the tale of the unknown
Oh save us from ourselves
Oh heal us now
Bring us from the depths
Let us feel Your love
Let us know Your power
Let us see a friend in You
The rain will fall
the wind will be blowing
the lightning will strike
We'll look up to see
the face of a friend
down a road we've never been
Oh seasons
